Saturday 29th June 2019 sees the temporary re-opening of Mumbles Pier after Phase 1 of its extensive refurbishment. Join Toby the Mumbles Pier Bear at 10am as the Pier re-opens and see the RNLI Mumbles Lifeboat have their first public launch and training exercise from 10.30am.
Hannah Hunter General Manager of Mumbles Pier says “Our amazing team here at Mumbles Pier are excited to announce the temporary opening of our historic pier for the summer whilst restoration works continue. Our construction crews have been working tirelessly to restore our pier which is one of the most recognisable landmarks in the area”.
Visitors will be able to walk along the pier and enjoy the magnificent views of the bay whilst tucking in to our Copperfish Fish & Chips, visit the new RNLI Lifeboat House & shop and our 2 platforms will also be open for fishing.
